P.S. Also is tlbepson here? (probably spelling it wrong) I don't mean on homerepair, but he used to bail me out with tech on DSLR. Such as when I had problems getting my ancient HP-1018 laser printer to be compatible with new versions of Windows. Though I never did catch on to how to use a Seagate portable drive i bought, so it's just gathering dust.

P.S. I found out about this site roundabout, first browsing UpDownRadar, where i got wind of DSLR on Reddit. That's where i met px_eliezer, who linked me here.

Well you don't really have to search for it. Just start typing what you want; if you want a smile emoji type smile and choose from what you see. If you want a wink emoji type wink, so on an so forth.
The url you're asking about is the wayback machine. https://web.archive.org/
It caches websites, mostly for viewing only at the top level. Highly doubtful you'll get any archived info but you can try.

That's one of the very sad things about DSLreports ending was that all of that terrific data is gone unless at some point it becomes available again in some sort of fashion.

minni As-Far-As-I-Can-Tell, it was an earlier place inviting refugees from DSLReports (& other places); accumulating "free-speech" advocates for years ( since before 2015).
The banner image there pays homage to HLF founder David G. Hunt (1953-2015) {null link … arr.}
( Like this place, it spreads less info across more screen-space. Updates are not always upgrades.)

minni Forgot to answer you about the IM question. At the top next to your name, just to the left of the notification bell, is the IM you're looking for. It's called conversations. Click it, then click start conversation. Then enter the person you want to chat with (don't put the @ sign in front). As you type a list of names populates...

OK thanks. i tested it on you! ☺️ But i can't seem to access my sent-messages, nor incoming. I see a #1 imposed on the messages icon. When i click, all i see is GuruGuy. That's it, nothing else. Any Admin. & mod's here?
