Kennedy Jr. on Monday said he is “retiring” all 17 members of a crucial government panel of vaccine advisors, a shocking step that could help to sow doubts about immunizations in the U.S. Kennedy claimed that the panel has been “plagued with persistent conflicts of interest and has become little more than a rubber stamp for any vaccine.” But all HHS agencies and their advisory panels have had rigorous policies for conflicts of interest, and there have been no related issues for years. It’s long been felt that the Flu vaccine reduces severity of illness.

One quick study—and this is from 2015 so it is BC (Before Covid):

robxr4ti Any time? Every time I had a flu shot in the last 30+ years I was told it would reduce the severity of the influenza. That is my own experience. It did exactly that.

BTW, Covid and the other coronaviruses are RNA viruses, not DNA viruses. They do have a somewhat uncommon, proofreading feature that supposed to lessen the chance of mutations, but there’s theory, and there is practice.

And the Flu vaccine has kept the flu at bay for years.

I am a senior and very vulnerable. The flu has nearly killed me when I was younger.

Right, because you’re not interested in the topic of this thread. You’re just attempting to de-rail this thread with all the ways that you were wrong about COVID.

This particular thread is about the changes to ACIP, the new members, and the decisions they have made.

Instead of trying to get this thread locked, if you want to re-litigate COVID, then make a new thread. There you can rant about how you didn’t understand how vaccines worked before, so you fell for lies that the definition was changed to hide that vaccines weren’t working - instead of just reviewing the mountains of evidence that show that they did work. There you can provide all the evidence for the lab leak (it will be a short thread because there is none). And you can have those threads locked.
