If you want faster Starlink speeds, SpaceX is now selling a “Performance” dish for its satellite internet service that can offer download speeds over 400Mbps. At $1,999, it’s not cheap. However, the new Performance dish is a refresh of SpaceX’s older flat high-performance dish, which originally retailed for $2,500 when it arrived in 2022.
The new product is being sold on Starlink.com for US business customers, who pay for pricier monthly plans. Previous Performance dishes have offered faster speeds compared with the consumer-focused Starlink terminal, but it looks like SpaceX improved the latest model by focusing on its ability to survive tough environments for up to 10 years. This includes the dish that works on moving vehicles.
