When I was a kid Voltron (with the lions, not the cars) was a favorite. I always thought Power Rangers and the car Voltron were cheap knock-offs. 😃

When I was a kid, it was always interesting to me the way the fights would go near the end of the episodes.
The lions would be using all kinds of abilities that didn’t really work, and then say “enough of this shit” and form Voltron and then form the blazing sword and cut the monster to pieces.

Rook I always wondered why they didn’t just start with the blazing sword, then realized the episodes would be about 5 minutes long…

Exactly. Though I admit that the process of them inserting the keys, then travelling to the lions, then getting into the lions, then the lions waking up and exiting their resting places, then forming Voltron, then forming the blazing sword (all while the music played) was always fun to watch.

Rook You are right, that never got old. I wonder if I could stand seeing it every episode as an adult, my patience has evaporated 😃

I saw on the internet Henry Cavill is in the movie. I confess I haven’t looked it up but I wonder if he will be playing Keith. I was never the biggest Keith fan, Lance was kind of an a-hole, the Princess was super dramatic. I liked Hunk and Pidge.

TheBionic Did you watch the Voltron series that came out on Netflix back in 2016, Voltron: Legendary Defender? It was actually good.

Same here. I didn’t realize it went on for 8 seasons (76 episodes). I dropped off somewhere in the middle.
Going to have to catch up, eventually.
