HooRU If I attempt to go into a forum that I haven't been in, or I'm forced to reload the site, I get chapchas. It's becoming annoying. I realize that capchas are necessary, but can they be set differently?
SLC_96 sempergoofy Let me know if it keeps happening. HooRU and payup I sent you each private messages to troubleshoot.
Somewhat-Reticent HooRU Since few others had this issue, maybe testing (on Production!? 😧 ) caught you unawares. Clearing your browser cache could clear residual issues, if still persisting.
MacLeech HooRU I see the Capchas when changing networks (mobile to/from home/work wifi) or when switching on and off VPNs. If your IP doesn't change between site visits, you shouldn't see them. Opera browser's built-in VPN or Kproxy's browser extension may also be triggering it, among other things.
sempergoofy I was seeing capchas on my tablet early (2am-ish) Sunday morning. Of all things, it was happening when I selected "logoff" (or whatever it is) from the hamburger menu (stacked lines upper left corner). Really? Making sure robots can't logoff? Made no sense to me. I figured something was being tested, so I played along and selected the images requested.
payup I am too, it seems the admin is utilizing crowdsec. I've used it as an alternative to fail2ban for a publicly exposed SSH server but not a website. Hopefully it can be fine-tuned so we see less captchas.
Rich221976 Strange. I haven't one Captcha at all. I also refreshed the site a few times to update to see the new posts and I still haven't seen one. If it helps using Safari on Mac OS 15.2. I gotta update to 15.3 tonight.
totamak Haven't encountered a captcha here, but been logged in the whole time since starting. Windows 10 x64 v22H2 Firefox v134.0.2, running wide open (cookies remembered, all scripts allowed, no ad blocking) on Charter Spectrum, not using a VPN
px_eliezer_ No CAPTCHAs for me. Have logged in and out many times. Using different browsers (Edge, FF, Chrome). And multiple providers (Optimum cable and T-Mobile 5G Internet). I do not use VPN or any ad-blocker apps/extensions.
Rich221976 px_eliezer_ Same here. I only use Brave browser for blocking ads when needed. Mostly Youtube.
Heat84 No capchas for me either. But I don't think I've been logged out since I registered, other than when my phone reboots.
