Low split OFDM channel change

Last Thursday we had an outage set from 1am to 6am for network improvements. When my modem resynced I noticed the ofdm channel moved from 690 MHz to 678. I was curious if anyone had any speculation or knowledge on why that may have happened? No change in cmts mac or ip lease duration.

Mine has been at 678 MHz for years. I have low split in the North East.

Still at 693 for OFDM PLC for me on low split, legacy CMTS.

My OFDM is Ch ID 193 @ 805 MHz. I’m fed by a Harmonic vCMTS and a Cisco GS7000 node.

The housing may be a GS7000, but it was likely upgraded to a Harmonic Pebble DAA RPD (reusing the existing housing is a large win for deployment).

Still 693 MHz. Node is right outside in a doghouse. SA Gainmaker amp with larger lid and 1×1 fiber node module. Eagerly awaiting mid split. Theres small residential pockets upgraded to Arris gear with mid split, but a lot of the business areas have not been yet. Still sub split SA gear all the way down through Collegeville, PA, with a few pockets of mid split here and there. Berks County is a little further along in the Keystone region with all of the new overbuilds and the retroactive upgrades to the existing adjacent system.
