This is just another fabricated narrative.
Michael Mann’s hockey stick is not the top of anything. But denialists and contrarians always believe that there is just one paper that rules everything, and if only they could discredit it, then the whole house of cards would collapse. This is a cartoonish understanding of the world.
But that is not reality. The evidence is built upon ample evidence, that has been reproduced and verified, and has been predictive of what we are currently observing.
As for the civil case. The issue is the amount of damages and sanctions.
The finding that the civil case, what is not mentioned, is that the finding of defamation and actual malice still stands.
