I’ve always had an excellent memory but these days find myself double-checking sometimes on how to spell a word, or having to look up various numbers that I used to remember with ease.
It’s normal.
It is of course important to get enough sleep, on a regular sleep cycle, have a balanced diet, etc.
If still concerned you might want to get a basic medical checkup (also perhaps to include TSH (Thyroid), fasting blood glucose, CBC, Lyme test, B-12 level, etc. All of these (and more) are possibilities regarding brain fog.
Also some medicines (such as statins for cholesterol) may cause fatigue or brain fog…
