It is looking more like the cull will go ahead imminently. The CFIA has taken control of the farm, and the usual suspects were ordered to leave. Consistent with their behaviour to this point, Pasitney and mother did not comply, and were arrested, processed and subsequently released. One of the conditions of release was that they remain off the property while the CFIA is on-site.
CFIA workers have been building a 3m high hay wall within the enclosure, making it look like they are preparing for the deed itself, while still disclosing nothing. So-called “supporters” of the farm were in the surrounding area, yelling at and confronting workers, as well as trying to intimidate any companies suspected of providing services to the CFIA related to this process; some of those businesses reported the obstruction and harassment to police.

I can only imagine how difficult this has to be. It’s not a job I would want, and has to be even more difficult, with all of these dolts standing around and yelling nonsense and guilt-inducing accusations. Whatever these “supporters” choose to think, these are still people just trying to earn a living; that’s their job, and they’re doing it. Making it more difficult than it needs to be accomplishes nothing, and it’s not like they can abandon their duties just because a bunch of people stand there yelling at them.
