I fired up my basement laptop which used to see a lot of usage in the 201*’s when I used Firefox. There was an option for “pocket”. I thought, I wonder how that’s doing?, but I fall out of those fads as fast as I fall in. All the webpages I’ve got in collections on my edge browser kind of sit around taking up space. I still create directories, folders, and read me.txt for things I need to keep at the ready.

Looks like I had it disabled in about:config. Never really used it. I’m sure plenty did though.

That’s too bad that it is shutting down. When I start a new tab with Cntrl-T, Pocket suggest several articles/sites on the displayed new tab. I often find one or more of them interesting enough to go check out.

Is it that sync thing that sync desktop and mobile? Because I do use that…

Bummer. It is a great resource. I’ve found among the most interesting and informative things there previously unknown to me. I hope that their idea that it’s outdated and will be replaced with something better is the case, but I am skeptical of that claim and can’t imagine what could be done in its place that would be better.
