Jackorama I would call repair clinic and ask them to ship with purolater/ anything but canada post. By the way, The pressure switch part for my furnace i ordered from them actually came from somewhere in the GTA even though they seem to be a US front. They basically have access to tap in to various stocks of repair parts.
In part of my working life we were refurbishing fractional h/p motors and vacuum blowers the process including replacing ball bearings. Cartridge bearings. The new bearings had to be pressed on the shafts so it took some special tooling. Oil and grease only worked for a short time on worn bearings as the slop in the assy allows vibration.
One thing to warch for is make sure your fan that goes on the motor shaft is clean , correctly positioned and also tight on the shaft so as to reduce out of balance condition.
