Getting tired of the CR1000 dropping static routes to my own router behind it upon reboot. Can I just double NAT the cr1000 or are the boxes hard coded to only work with the Verizon router despite having an FAQ section on the box settings and a pop up warning prompt stating that if you use your own router verizon won’t support it.
Using 2Gig with no coax. IPTV is via the VIP video circuit. I don’t have a VMS4100ATV just a fios tv+ box and a mesh network via UniFi.
It does seem like they are hardcoded to look for something but wireshark isn’t turning up any clues for now
I still don’t get why we need the boxes when they have an Apple TV and fire stick app that costs $20 a month
If the CR1000 didn’t drop static routes each time it rebooted or did a software update that would be great.
