Microsoft is enhancing Windows 11 by adding a dedicated Phone Link panel to the start menu for easier Android device management.

This new panel provides quick access to your phone’s status, messages, calls, photos, and recent activity directly from the start menu.

It also includes a “send files” button for seamless file transfers and

shortcuts to the main Phone Link app and relevant settings.

Stembolt The phone app is amazing but it’s wildly unreliable, the interface regularly freezes up but somehow the app notifications still work.

I was shocked when I right clicked on an image someone texted me and I was able to right-click “copy text” without any effort at all and paste it into an email. That’s awesome.

Lol. Why was my first thought that so many people are going to get in trouble when they forget to log out of this and their spouses are seeing their messages that are mirrored to their computer? 😂

Totally agree about the Phone link app. I uninstalled it from my machine and now it works. Well, the notifications still work. It’s a poorly functioning app to be sure.
