telcodad I continue to be surprised that so many people are signing up for wireless service from Comcast, Charter, Cox, etc. when it’s more expensive than alternatives.
Visible starts at $25/month on Verizon’s network, and they regularly have 1-year promos for as low as $15-20/month.
It makes sense, Verizon can give themselves lower rates than they give other companies.
But it’s still funny that so many people do no research into alternatives.
The plans themselves are worse too. “Reduced speeds after 30GB”, that doesn’t apply to Visible.
They’re also only limited to cable customers. What happens if you have Xfinity Mobile but you move to a Spectrum area? Oops, need to switch wireless providers now also. That’s annoying, and not super simple for non-tech savvy people.
