The issue with them trying to grow their wireless business is that there's no national cable company, there's a bunch of regional ones.
Charter + Comcast would essentially be national, or at least cover all major markets.
They want to bundle wired + wireless together, but their footprint is limited since they can only sell wireless service to their cable customers.
It's hard for them to compete with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in wireless since they are national.
Xfinity Mobile, etc. requires you to be a cable customer.
