Walmart has enforced that its Onn lineup of Google TV devices is exclusive to US customers, but the retailer has quietly started expanding the Onn 4K Pro into Canada.
That hadn’t stopped many from importing the enticing, low-cost streamers to other regions, though. That is, until the retailer implemented a software block last year that made it quite difficult to use the device in other countries.
Now, though, Walmart appears to be expanding to other regions.
Some users have spotted that, suddenly, Walmart’s Onn 4K Pro streaming box with Google TV has started showing up in stores across Canada. This includes in Montreal and some other regions. A unit was also spotted in London, just not the one in the UK. That’s London in Ontario, Canada.
