r81984 ATT was not allowed to own these frequencies so there would be competition.
If that was true they are still not be allowed to acquire them.
By the way no one owns frequencies, they are granted and can be clawed back for good cause such as what Dish was running into due to a lack of funding to complete build outs.
I hold a Florida Statewide Private Carriers License nowhere in my licensing is it indicated I own the frequencies I have been granted to use, why because I do not own them, what we paid for and was granted was FCC permission to use and lease out frequencies throughout the State of Florida for use by others.
