takeahike Weird. My 64-bit W10 Pro’s Start Menu shortcut still shows v4.72 in it after installing v4.73 over my v4.72. Did yours too?

That happened to me too when I installed the plug-ins v4.73 installer first, so I just then installed the regular v4.73 one over the top and that gave me the new v4.73 number on both the Start Menu and in the Help–>About in the app. After that just in case I then redid the plug-ins installer and everything remained the same.

BTW, Thunderbird v145.0 is finally available. I guess I shouldn’t complain about free stuff! 🤔

antdude After seeing your post I went and did an over-the-top upgrade from 4.72 to 4.73. Started with the installer then did the plug-ins installer. Version 4.73 is reported correctly in the Start Menu and in Programs and Features.

Dustyn That’s how I did it. Still at v4.72. I gave up and manually renamed it in my C:\Users\antdude\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\IrfanView.

antdude Very unusual! Perhaps a glitch with the installation? My update was done on Win10 64-bit too.
EDIT: Is it possible you ran the 4.72 installer again? I’ve done this by accident in the past after downloading the update and running the previous installer again. Or the website says it was the latest version, but the download server offered the previous version. 😝
