Hi everyone, My FIL is having an online auction through Gordon’s in partnered with Maxsold. Items have to be picked up in Brockville, Ontario. There is only 2 days left, but I know many of you who live in and around Brockville are into tools, power tools, shop vacs, riding mowers, electric battery mowers, etc. Everything in and outside the house is being auctioned off. 7 pages of 525 lots. A lot of artworks and collectibles too. After auction, 4 bedroom, 1 ½ bath, house will be sold. We are trying to get as much as we can to help pay for living in a seniors community, Chartwell Rosedale, $4,000 per month, that is close to the LTC home his wife is in.

At the beginning of Feb. of this year he almost died and now he can’t live in his home. He almost bled to death as a result of a radiation used to remove prostate cancer and blood thinners. This also caused him to have a heart attach that he didn’t even know he had due to him being very confused. They put him on a lower dose of a different blood thinner, but he is still bleeding. They took him off of blood thinners when he was first in the hospital, but this caused blood clots in his arms and legs. So, they now do a blood test every two weeks to keep a head of it. He got out of the hospital mid April. He wanted to go to the LTC to be with his wife, but the hospital doctors and social workers said no, that he was not critical enough to go into a LTC.
Any help is appreciated, even if it’s a shout out to friends in or near this area. We hope to maybe extend the auction, but don’t know at this time.
