No more Ultra tier?

I’ve been on the Ultra plan for years, and my dad was just telling me that their basic plan was supposed to be 500mbps now too. I looked online and it appears they only offer the 500mbps “premiere” tier and the gigabit. I’m wondering if I’m paying more for a tier that isn’t any faster than the base tier now…

talz13 they did get rid of Ultra in favor of premier 500mbps and Gig, with that being said, they did upgrade ultra to 600mbps before doing so. Whether the extra 100mbps is worth it to you is a different question entirely.

Funny you mentioned this, I just did an upgrade two days ago to this exact premier plan. I went from 400mbps to 500mbps (premier) the price difference was like a dollar. I wish spectrum told current subs about the plan.

CBusdude definitely felt like 500 was worth it over 200, but 600 over 500? I wonder how much difference there is in price. I’m paying $103/mo for ultra without discounts

talz13 Gig rack rate is $100 now. Either way, it should save you some money.

xpxp2002 I just called up to switch over to the gigabit. $3/mo cheaper for nearly double the speed. Anyone know if the $5 auto pay discount still applies?
