Is there a way to have the discussions you are interested in show up?

Is there a way to have the discussions you are interested in show up by themselves? At the top or in separate section?
I remember picking topics when I signed up, but I don’t see anything reflecting that.

Just the sub forums I’m interested in.

Click on “Following” to bring up a list of the topics or tags you are interested in.

Still, it would be nice to have unread discussions to populate the top of the list.

Not talking about individual threads. Whole sub forums, keeping them separated from the ones you’re not interested in. It’s pretty easy to follow your own threads.

The “Following” option should give you want you are looking for.

No, it does not. I guess i just don’t know how to explain what I want.

OverBurn How is the software supposed to know what you are interested in? The following gives you the tags/forums that you want. There is also Latest and Newest (still not sure the difference) at the top for options. Unfortunately, there no “sort by unread” for when you do read some of them). You can also specifically UNfollow tags/forums so that they do not show up.

I’ll try one last time. The old forum allowed you to pick the individual forums you wanted to show up, just them, and only them.

I want the forums I’m not interest to NOT show up, it’s not possible here. I won’t ask anymore.

It has nothing to do with following anything! Following individual threads is pretty self explanatory.

Okay, try this. Go to your Settings page https://broadbandbulletin.com/settings and at the very bottom of the page, make sure the “What to show by default in the Following page” is set to Tags and not Discussions. By doing this you should only see the Tags/Forums you are following when you click on https://broadbandbulletin.com/following

Note: Tags refer to Forums.

You’re referring to the old “Favorites” (Faves?) DSLR had for forums where you picked the forums you wanted and there was a list of just the ones you liked. I used that all the time too.

I think what Kathy is linking to is the closest equivalent here to DSLR’s favorites which may not be saying much.

OverBurn I’ve kind of done it by normally viewing “all discussions” then selecting “ignoring” under the follow menu for the groups or discussions I don’t want to see.
