Forbes Magazine … It’s just trash now.
That goes for almost every magazine I can think of, they’re all catering to the lowest common denominator and then acting surprised that their circulation has disappeared. Our house used to subscribe to a lot of magazines and my mood would perk up when I came home from work and saw the latest magazine on the table but over the past 20 years we’ve cancelled every single one because they all became partisan rags of sensationalism.
At the same time cyber security has always been something that most of the mainstream mags have flubbed in some way or the other.
And people talk LOUD doing all their private business on cellphones, whether on the bus, train, in a store, in an office, in a restaurant, etc.
You know what really grinds my gears? People who put other people on speakerphone to have conversations with them out in public. It’s so weird to have someone near me on a city bus and we can hear the person on the other side. And when the person is speaking into the phone, they’re doing it twice is loud for some reason. When I have a phone conversation in public you can barely hear me speaking, nevermind the person on the other end. shakes cane at sky
