Blackbird
I was working on my 55 chevy, replacing the points, rotor and cap of the dual point distributor I had put on the 283 I'd installed awhile back.
The battery is located at the passenger side firewall such that I needed to reach over it to replace the spark plug wires. I was wearing my watch with stainless steel stretch band. As I reached over the battery, the band slipped up my forearm and grounded the +terminal to what I recall was a bolt or screw head on the firewall.
The first thing I noticed was the smell of burning flesh followed by 'significant' pain and attendant exhortations to illegitimate offspring and the Almighty. My arm was branded with a rough image of the watch band, and I was the laugh of the day for the guys in the garage.
1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2, a sequence I remember to this day.
