Revival is set on one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin when the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the “revived” appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.

I read this comic series from start to finish, most of it was great, but there were definitely luls/low points. Hopefully the TV series can cut out the junk without sacrificing an otherwise pretty great story.

I read the books too but didn’t finish the full run.

Mrs. McMurray, I can say I am pleased with the casting.

When I think of Revival, I initially think of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Then I think of the comic book and now I can think of the series. Can’t wait.

Only 3 episodes are listed on IMDB. If it’s halfway decent we’re going to need a lot more than that.

Fair enough,..

Outcast took itself very seriously and judging from the Revival trailer it may be more tongue in cheek then I recall the books being. Tonally it may be very different too.

BTW, if you go to the Revival IMD page they site it as being on PBS Masterpiece so clearly they’ve got the wrong show
