Meanwhile, my neighborhood is ineligible for VHI because we are served by a small cell that has no mid-band. That small cell has been there since 2017 and was B13 only until a few months ago when it got an upgrade to a new Samsung RRU and antenna – that only does B5 and 13 now.
Maybe instead of wasting money on trying to entice people with gift cards, they should invest that money in upgrades that actually enable them to capture and serve more customers who are already incentivized to subscribe. All they had to do was put C-band and/or mmWave on that small cell, and we would be equipped for VHI here.
