Pains me to say it, but as a former DSLR resident I totally feel how Wayne Hale must be feeling…

As interesting as it is to have the perspective of an insider for history, it’s still only one person’s view and not necessarily that of NASA. So I’m not surprised they’re purging these individual accounts of what happened. NASA is probably thinking if these people want to tell their NASA experiences from their own POV then they can start their own sites like Hale has with his Wordpress site.

You know that I am not a big fan of the current people in charge, and those people HAVE removed a lot of history that they should not have…

But this particular event does not strike me as malicious or necessarily wrong.
