Called support to arrange for a router swap (it’s not a modem!). Dropped off my old one and got a replacement HH4K. It was shrink wrapped. Get home and find out the power brick is faulty. Thanks Bhell!
Zipped back and said plug it in. The person there said she can’t test it. I said, just to power. Don’t need the fiber to see this. The LEDs on the ports on the back would blink on in sync with the power light on the power brick blinking on. Nothing on the front. I suggested we try with the old power brick. She got that and plugged it in. Blue LED on the front came on with the welcome message on the screen.
Brought it home and so far so good. Just turned off the radios…
