urbanriot Yeah, I have a 512 GB Pixel 6 Pro, and my phone is still going strong. I’m only noticing a little slowdown, but not really much. Honestly I could probably still hold on to this phone for another year or two and it would still be working great and kicking ass.
Many years ago I used to be one of those people that would upgrade to the newest and best phone that came out each year, but honestly that was in the earlier days of cell phones when the differences from year to year were much more significant and more noticeable. But now, the phones have gotten to the point where the changes/upgrades aren’t that huge, and have started to feel more like incremental updates, than really meaningful and noticeable upgrades; hence why I don’t feel the need to jump to the latest and greatest every year anymore. (Plus that’s a lot of money to be constantly putting out needlessly.)
I will however say I’m strongly considering getting the Pixel 10 Pro Fold (or whatever that version will be called if they come out with one) later this year. But I have also had my Pixel 6 Pro for years now, and I use my phone heavily, so I’ve been getting years of heavy use out of it so far. And like I said, honestly it could probably still continue kicking ass for another 2 years.
