I ended up getting the original way too close to the launch of Skyrim, so it ended up getting ignored for Skyrim, but I’m seriously considering this. Anyone else planning on getting the remaster?

I downloaded it on GamePass but haven’t done anything beyond look at the character creator.

I put Skyrim in my backlog years ago and never got around to it.

I played Oblivion when it came out for PC. I bought the expansion back when it was on a DVD and don’t think I ever played it.

I did the same thing with Morrowind. Bought it on release, played the hell out of it, bought the expansion and never played it.

I played through Daggerfall multiple times, but that was when I was young, didn’t have many games, and obviously way more free time.

I think these games are just a bit too big and time consuming for me to really sink any time into a second time around.

What Real Gamers do is buy a game, add it to their massive Steam backlog, and then kick themselves when they see it offered for free two or three years later and realize they still haven’t played the game yet.

So I did get this and started a new run. It’s awesome, but now it’s fallen behind Expedition 33, which I recommend everyone check out. Best game I’ve played in a while. I’ll get back to oblivion, and my backlog, soon enough.
