That’s what I like to hear, getting ROI on their C-band and mmWave purchase. More connectivity options are a big win for consumers. FWA is a blessing for rural markets, previously stuck on satellite internet and expensive wireline options.

That’s lovely as long as their coverage maps are accurate. Most of the times they’re not:

Why you might ask? Because most antennas are pointed downward toward the ground not aligned to one of the compass directions.

Doesn’t help those who have substantial obstructions between the antenna and their where they live.

Ultibeam O I have been making use of FWA solutions as backup connectivity at a number of businesses. It has really brought down the cost of cellular backup. Went from only being able to keep things like Point of Sales and critical back office loads online, to being able to keep everything going (even if a bit more slowly) when the local wireline provider goes down. The enhancements have also helped with things like Food Trucks equipped with 5G modems.

I haven’t used FWA as primary connectivity anywhere, as it is still a bit shaky.

I just dumped them due to a price increase. But they weren’t my primary connect to the internet. I used it as a backup to fiber.

What they Failed to Mention is that Verizon
Bought Tracfone and its 33 Million Customers along with their 5G customers.
Tracfone was a contracted Verizon service provider prior to the perchase
