I just watched the Brutalist it was a weird movie and long..... Three and a half hours.

It's up for an oscar but you never know.

ZZZZZZZ Yeah, I don't get it. One or two epsiodes were good, the others were just...not.

I just finished season 6 of Elementary and the whole show is great. There are a few 2 or 3-part stories that are excellent, and then there's the season 3 "Kitty" story arc that's fantastic.
Going to wait a bit before finishing up the 13 episodes of season 7.

Just starting a binge-watch of the first season of Paradise. The show is pretty amazing. Episode 8 ~~should be released later today.~~ is already available. (edited)

ZZZZZZZ I just don’t get it with Watson. The last episode, where they had to go behind the Medical Director’s back to treat the patient, was pretty good.
They should be doing more of that, like Dr. House did with Dr. Cuddy on House (which was also inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories).

We just watched Romeo is Bleeding with Gary Oldman and Lena Olin what an incredibly crazy movie and is Lena Olin ever hot or was hot . 🥂😍🌞

Rook yeah almost every character in elementary were perfectly spot on....... Just watching season 3 of the Border a Canadian show which is really good. 👍🇨🇦

here was this one character that wore a suit, bow tie, glasses and looked like an accountant. He turns out to be a bad ass when came to fighting. There a lot of great fight scenes in this show.

That guy gave us the best in-car fight-scene with-glasses I've ever seen in my life.

Hell yeah!! That dude was awesome. A great fighter and bad ass! The whole show had great supporting characters and actors.

Rook. Watson is just as bad as it was, the dialogue with the medical jargon is annoying, and there’s not one likable character.

They need to focus a little more on the Moriarty story. 😞

I know you guys were raving about it a long time ago but I never really gave it a chance…

But within the past couple weeks I’ve binged the first two seasons of For All Mankind and I’m hooked.

There’s a lot of unbelievable or wildly inaccurate moments that occur and a few outlandish soap opera-y events, and some of the stuff with women’s rights wasn’t quite right, but considering the effort they put into getting a lot of other stuff accurate for the period it’s balancing out for me. IMO they softened up the Russians and how we felt about them quite a bit and I wasn’t keen on how they made America come off like the big mean bad guys in that war.

For All Mankind was good. They seemed to spend a lot of time on the private lives of everybody, but outside of that, the story was pretty interesting.
I’m surprised there aren’t more “alternate history” TV dramas. The only recent one I can think of is The Man In The High Castle.

I started watching that show and it kept reminding me of Ascension. I never finished Ascension or For Mankind, but I get the same vibe.

“was” - they still intend to put out 3 more seasons. Ronald D. Moore had stated this was a 7 season show. I lol’d at Michael Dorman making himself fat for season 2.

ElQuintron I had to google Ascension to be reminded of how it went.
Yeah, similar shenanigans.
It was on the SyFy channel in the U.S. and they were trying a few different things.
Not all of them worked.

About a third of each season is filler anyway.
