The whole idea of an alien invasion is rediculous. Whether they wanted to kill us, enslave us, or something else, aliens would have technology to do it in minutes. They’d have no need to launch an invasion. The idea of alien invasion is of course from H.G. Wells’ The War Of The Worlds, and humanity ran with it and brought us to this discussion. I don’t know if that’s a testament to Wells’ brilliance or humanity’s paranoia and stupidity.

Some of those Alien Invasion Sci-Fi movies have had the aliens desiring all the water that Earth has. But I realized that there’s plenty of frozen water in space - all those comets are just “dirty snowballs,” - they could just harvest plenty of those for all the water they want.
