winchester73 3 gig service now available in my area, same price as 2 gig. Had to replace the fiber jack, otherwise same router and extenders. There is an optional $10/mo battery backup for the router, but I didn't get it.
neel For the battery backup you could just pick up a UPS instead of paying $10/mo. It's like buying a cable modem instead of renting.
badtlc4 My area recently got upgraded to the 3Gbps plan from 2Gbps, too. I dont have google fiber, though.
