I have a Win PE ,wim image (called boot.wim) that is missing a somewhat important, though not absolutely necessary .ini file, I have re-created the proper .ini, mounted the .wim image with DISM, copied the .ini file into the proper directory, committed change and then unmounted the file, but the the .ini file I added is *not* in the .wim image. 🙁
I also tried “Capture-Image” – that put the file into the .win, but that one would not boot.
Does anyone know how to properly add just one file into a .wim inage?
