When I was a kid, We’d go with my grandad to pick pawpaws in the Muskingum river valley woods near Stockport Ohio. My grandmother would make pies with them. Jackie O’s brewery in Athens OH makes a pawpaw beer when they are in season. They don’t last long, so need to be used quickly.
