Thought I'd start a new thread for suggesting functionality and not clog up the "Suggestions for additional forums" thread. How about embedding YT and other videos, twitter feeds, etc. Currently I can post links but embedding is much better.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised that all of these requested changes are happening so quickly. (But I'm pretty ignorant of how websites like this work, so...)

Rook well DSLR ran on autopilot for the last decade so… yeah agile software development FTW!

It helps that modern forum software is so extensible these days. DSLR was a big custom thing that if you added or fixed one thing, it was easy to break something else.

Unfortunately, the new favicon is way too dark in tabs and the bookmarks toolbar. macOS kicks into auto dark mode at night and a grey BB is too hard to see. I beg for something that's got some white or bright colour in it. Can't we steal just one little aspect of DSLR and use its old favicon - https://www.dslreports.com/favicon.ico .

Is there a means to delete images from the media manager that aren't being used in posts?

So the next challenge is text in conversations is being blocked / hidden with the background colours. This behaviour is happening on macOS Sonoma using Firefox 134. If I blindly try to highlight text, I can barely make out what's behind the text bubble colours.

With so many rooms/discussions, I'd like to be able to key on the particular areas I'm interested in.

Is it possible to "Follow" a whole discussion, not just an individual discussion thread. Then the "new" bubble would highlight when either of new thread or a new individual thread-post is created.

I have this in the other thread, but putting here: a way to favourite or filter to only show the forums you want. The list is too long and there are so many I will not ever go into.

bbbc I'm also seeing this behavior in Firefox on Android. I found a fix here. I'm using my own custom dark mode here in FF with Dark Reader. I just told Dark Reader to ignore the dark mode here and use my own custom 'really dark' mode. I think the dark mode settings here just need to be tweaked a bit. I set mine up for DSLR, but it was a while ago. All I remember is that I made the background black instead of dark grey and messed with some colors a bit so that there was more contrast.

Any way to order followed threads and all conversations so that threads that have unread posts appear at the top of the list?

If I'm in a forum and click the check mark icon to mark discussions as read, it marks every discussion in every forum as read. It would be nice to have that action mark only the discussions in that forum as read. Unless I'm doing something wrong.
