Thought I'd start a new thread for suggesting functionality and not clog up the "Suggestions for additional forums" thread. How about embedding YT and other videos, twitter feeds, etc. Currently I can post links but embedding is much better.

It would be nice to have some type of counter, A registered user counter would be nice as well as, this many people are online type counter

Is there an alternate layout for the forum front page? It is just a bunch of giant mostly empty boxes for each sub forum. It is inefficient and hard to navigate. Can we get a simple categorized list like DSLreports was?

I was just about to post the same thing. It should be just a list of links in alphabetical order. I shouldn't have to do a search in page to find the forum I want. Better yet, I should be able to "favorite" my preferred forums on the page similar to what DSLR had.

I would also like to suggest to be able to favorite forums (not just threads) as it's a bit tedious to get to where you want to go. I appreciate your consideration and thank you for starting this forum.

I'm hoping this happens and also that the news is brought back, like the old DSLR landing / home page. I feel pretty confident @SLC_96 is trying to figure this out. The guy has only been using this forum software for a week.

For now, you can click on All Discussions or Following and then it will list all the Forums on the left side in more or less alphabetical order.

This site was done with immediacies of the moment and its New and has Birthing pains and eventually Growing pains until it has the time and the inputs to grow to maturity. This is a Glass Half Full and not a Glass Half Empty situation. Being critical does not do justice to SLC_96 and his efforts and work on his part for us the Dslr wandering Gypsies to have a new home.
Suggestions are welcomed and can be posted in existing threads like "Site Recommendations" and other similar Treads. Just Bitching does not help or do justice for this site
