g225 Oxidized true crime, its rust programming at best, other channels offer the same murder porn type shows.
I did not watch CSI NY, and while its dataed USA network has it back on the air again, watched a few episodes. The lack of realism in the show probably is why the franchise ran out of steam when other crime shows (such as law and order) keep going and going.
I do miss the old Canadian discovery channel, they era in which they had their nightly news/info program was great stuff, informative, entertaining. BBC somewhat has the same calibre of programing but does not of course have the new/info show of the day (though the actual BBC of the UK does make similar shows for their own consumption).
