Blackbird So… would such watermarking be intended to protect images generated using their AI from being freely copied?
Probably more of a branding/trademark aspect.
Blackbird would it be intended to alert general viewers that an image had been generated via a form of AI?
That would be a good use, but why then remove the watermark for paying customers? I think it is also for revenue generation. I honestly don’t think that informing viewers that the image was generated using AI enters into any of their business models - they don’t care.
