I just want to know how… like, how do they expect us to believe this? The only thing I can think of is the AI escapes into the real world like a Skynet situation and starts manufacturing its ‘stuff’ out here but that doesn’t explain the light emanating from the cycles.

Didn’t see the end of Tron Legacy? SOMEhow entity from within the computer got brought out at the end of the movie. So if this movie picks up right from that point, that makes sense…

HELLFIRE Honestly I don’t remember now, I loved the original Tron back in the 80s but I was super disappointed with the last Tron, it felt more like a cash-in than anything else.

Same here. I’ve always thought that the light cycles (and the trails they leave) were the most visually interesting part of Tron’s world. To see that interact with the real world would be interesting.
Hopefully the story is interesting and well-written.

I’m not a huge fan of the animation style, but it’s only 19 episodes so I might give it a shot at some point.
