dslwanter Yeah, that sounds like an overbuilder. AT&T/telco should be at the lowest lashing point, cable provider above them, everybody else will have to lash above the incumbent cable provider or else they’d be too low.
I would’ve ruled out Comcast for the same reason: it really doesn’t seem like they’re building that far north. But who knows. Maybe they haven’t updated the address database for the website yet.
Edit: I should add that sometimes one provider will have multiple bundles hanging and more than one lash point. I’m sure you’ve seen it. Very common with telcos hanging their fiber above and separate from copper feeder lines. And there are also often long-haul fiber runs along major arteries for various non-consumer transit providers, like Level3 or Everstream. I just say that in case anyone wonders why there might be 4+ “rows” of cabling on a pole that only serves, say, AT&T and Armstrong customers at that location.
