I seem to have dodged major tree damage with only a few limbs here and there, others in my area are not so lucky but nothing major that I am aware of except for power outages and the Hodag Dome collapsing in Rhinelander, Wi. Now we have this coming on Tuesday night. Tomorrow Night 04/01 87% / 3 in Watching a potential winter storm. Periods of snow. Low 28F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Blah yuck again.

IMPACT…Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Pottstown, Quakertown, Perkasie, Bedminster, Tinicum, East
Greenville, Ferndale, Bally, Bechtelsville, Riegelsville, Green

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL ST. HELENA AND NORTHWESTERN TANGIPAHOA PARISHES…

At 823 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located near Greensburg, moving southeast at 40 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.

The tornado will be near…
Roseland around 830 PM CDT.
Amite City around 835 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Tangipahoa.

This includes Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 50 and
60.

When I left for work this morning (to Wash DC) at 5:30 it was 73degrees, since then it’s dropped 30+ and it’s snowing (!). I know y’all up north are used to it but here, not so much.

Lowland snow in March is not very common around here, but we’ve got some snow today with the possibility of a bit more tomorrow. However, I think this is winter’s last stand this season.

Up in the mountains is winter wonderland right now, but that’s a whole different ballgame.

Going to get a little bit of snow this weekend

BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SUNDAY TO 4 PM CDT MONDAY…
…WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 10
AM CDT SUNDAY.

WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 20 and
30 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as
high as 50 mph may result in considerable blowing and drifting snow
and blizzard conditions late Sunday into Monday.

I am out of shear pins for my Snowblower, I guess if any break I will just use a Grade 5 bolt and nut.
