I can only speak for the Blast plan, which was advertised at 800/100 before this upload speed increase. In doing other tests, I'm seeing similar download speeds, so I think the download may officially still be at 800.
Back in 2021, it looked like fiber was installed in the neighborhood, saw the loops and cylinders so many feet apart, but it runs between the poles along the street at the bottom of my hill / the next hill over, but it does not run up either hill. What's out at the tap, looks like coax to me and has not changed in appearance in years, so I have no idea if we're still connected to coax, or if somehow the coax is connected to the fiber (if actually installed) at the bottom of the hills.
