Question for users’s of this Synology NAS Software package the March 6, 2025 Update.
I’m not quite understanding references in the Release Notes: to the new limits of certain settings, and what stops working if those limits are reached.
I’m also interested if Surveillance Station can still be used as a Motion Detect Source with SS CAMERA settings: H264 Camera Video settings! (This last due to fact I received 2x differing answers: one saying it will go away, other saying it will remain, on this subject from support since last SS Version, dated last November. Synology is half AI Support and half Human support and not sure which answer came from which!!!).
So far. The only post I saw regarding March 2025 SS, and was in NAS forum, and it was about altered video files from prior captured video, distorted after the update.
So I posted there (Synology NAS Forum) with my questions, which were promptly deleted, and I was locked out from posting afterward.
I have searched and not found any further information or answers.
Synology Support is now down for maintenance.

How is latest SS working?
Is SS as a Motion detect source for H264 video still operational???
