Well my home AND my office are both sitting in suburban Verizon territory, yet Verizon refuses to offer FiOS at either location.
So I can’t personally tell you about Verizon FiOS because like Moses being banned from the Promised Land, I must watch from afar.
But it IS safe to say that Optimum/Altice has a lot of issues—probably more so than many other suburban cable companies in the tristate area—so WHY NOT switch to FiOS if you are lucky enough, and if they offer you a decent deal.
What’s the worst that could happen—if you don’t like FiOS then after a few months you can go back to Optimum as a new customer.
