Curious your thoughts on it so far - I have 2 older laptops that absolutely won’t run Win 11 and aren’t super great with Win 10 but are usable (Core i5 3xxx series for one of them, core i7 2xxx for the other, 8GB Ram in both, 512GB SSD in both). I was thinking about going with the Raspbian OS Linux on the core i7 but the 3rd gen i5, I was wondering how well chromeOS might run on it and what others experiences were – my kid has a lot of friends with chromebooks and they seem to like them for the stuff they do and I thought it might be fun for him as a second computer (his normal daily driver is a Dell Latitude Core i7 12th Gen with 32GB RAM/1TB m.2 SSD and Win 11 - that’s what he plays minecraft and Roblox on, does his normal daily school work on, and uses for online tutors/classes in the evenings a few days a week).
