IS AT&T going to flake out on Fiber development now?

Other than some smaller companies and Frontier, ISPs have flaked out on running fiber passing and it’s a sore subject with me, it’s horribly short sighted and bad for the economy. Do you suppose ATT will stay obsessed with fixed wireless like Verizon? It’s pathetic.

HooRU AT&T has said repeatedly they don’t see fixed wireless as a replacement for fiber and will instead use it where it isn’t profitable for them to run fiber or as a stop gap between DSL and fiber while they’re working to build. They’ve announced their plans for what they want to pass with fiber. I don’t see them backing out of those plans.
