Streaming college radio stations. Any suggestions?

I’ve grown fond of listening to streaming college radio stations. No ads (just fund raising campaigns a couple times a year). and a WIDE variety in the kind of music offered. Often they highlight new talent. Some who’ve gone on to fame. These stations offer creative offerings that can’t be found elsewhere as ratings and money isn’t what drives them. Some I’ve found also include golden oldies music (How do college age kids know about and love The Turtles?)

Two I’ve had bookmarked for years are:
WERS, Emmerson College, https://wers.org/ primarily for its weekend lineup, and
WXPN, University of Pennsylvania, https://xpn.org/ home of the World Cafe and offering a very eclectic variety of music both new and not-so-new.

Do others here listen to college radio stations? Which have you grown fond of?

Back when I was tied to a desk, (almost 8 years ago now ) I listened to WKCR, Columbia University. The morning jazz show was a study in Charlie Parker and all related heroes of that era narrated by Phil Schaap. He had much personal perspective owing to his family connection to radio and jazz. His shows were recorded and replayed and I hope they’re still doing it today.

Years ago back in the 60s and 70s I would listen to listener sponsored Pacifica Foundation radio that in NYC had WBAI 99.5FM. This was a very popular station in the left-wing liberal and radical communities in the city, and I assume that to this day they still do a lot of call in shows that my friends and I would participate in. My best friend to this day would spend hours late into the night talking with Bob Fass. We would also volunteer at the station to answer the phones during fundraising campaigns that they called marathons. The most popular personalities were Bob Fass and Steve Post. Pacifica also has stations in Berkeley, Los Angeles, Houston and Washington, DC, although you can of course listen to any of them from anywhere now over the internet. I still tune in sometimes.

An uncensored broadcast on WBAI of George Carlin’s Filthy Words monolouge prompted a complaint with the FCC and the case wound up becoming a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court: Federal Communications Commission vs. Pacifica Foundation, 438 U.S. 726 (1978).

How about high school… Jazz from the capital city, 90.3FM WBRH, Baton Rouge, LA…
