One can find a needle in a haystack if one actually bothers to search for it. So far the remains of two people have been found.
IMHO more effort was put in for excuses and reasons not to even try. Yes race was a factor, if a white kid was killed and dumped they would have searched it, no political party would have dared to suggest the costs would be too high because too much time elapsed, however because the victims were not white, certain people want to argue over dollars with no sense of the matters at play.

I am really torn over which is more disgusting, the racist murder that abused and chopped them up like a cord of wood or the political parties that used this issue as a platform plank arguing cost containment.

Thane_Bitter other than saying its a disgusting crime, i will reserve comment on the who and who did it, but i am surprised the search went forward and its a good thing for the relatives and residents of Winnipeg in terms of putting some closure that they were actually found. And some justice will be served but it doesnt take away the hurt .
