Unless an agreement is already in place to sub-contract the operation of the distribution centres, they will no longer operate in Quebec; that is the cause of the controversy to begin with. Former Amazon workers have encouraged the boycotts, with some CUPW members supporting the idea.
Even with this contract in place, there have been reports of deliveries substantially missing their delivery estimates lately, and Prime subscribers are not happy. Short of shipping everything with Canada Post’s Priority-level service, there is no way to even come close to Prime delivery times. Unless there is some other contract to be announced shortly, something will have to change, or also stop offering Prime service in Quebec, since they can no longer deliver.
Rather curiously, almost every poster that I have seen in public areas encouraging the boycott has been at least partially torn off or defaced. It’s almost like Amazon has a crew just to remove them.
